There was a report of a single-vehicle traffic accident on US377N just south of Morgan Mill. No injuries were reported and the roadway was not blocked.

During the early morning hours of Wednesday, there was a report of a vehicle that was backed up to the Interbank ATM in Bluff Dale. Deputies responded to the scene and found that the ATM had missing money. Also later in the morning, a caller reported that their business building was burglarized sometime during the overnight hours on US377N. The vehicle used in the robbery was stolen from this business. The vehicle was a white 2015 Chevy 3500 four-door flatbed. LP # FDW-0144. The vehicle was reported to have damage to the rear end and was driven by three black males wearing hoodies and yellow gloves and a mask. If you see this vehicle please contact authorities.

There was a report of a structure fire on CR146. Units on the scene reported that that the fire was on the exterior of the residence and that it had been extinguished. Incoming units were canceled.

There was a report of a fire alarm at Oak Tree Apartments at 2251 West Lingleville. A caller advised that they could hear the alarm sounding in the neighboring apartment. Fire units did make an entry and did not locate anything.

An officer conducted a traffic stop on Belknap Street and arrested a male subject for DWI.

SFD was paged to the Health Outpatient Center at 140 River North Boulevard twice for a general fire alarm. Unit arriving on the scene reported that maintenance was working on the system. No Fire.

SFD was paged to McCoy’s Building Supply at 3001 Northwest Loop for a report of a general fire alarm. This turned out to be a false alarm. Units returned to the station.

There was a report of a stolen silver 2018 Dodge Charger out of Sanger Texas. A company that was tracking the vehicle called dispatch and reported that the vehicle was located on FM1189. Deputies responded to the location and secured the vehicle.

There was a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident on US281N near the Cheese Plant. Units on the scene reported minor damage with no injuries. EMS did clear the scene with no transport.

SFD was paged to the Tarleton Control Center for a possible structure fire. A caller advised that there was some equipment in the back that was on fire. There were two persons in the building that they had evacuated. Unit arriving on the scene reported a single-story structure building with nothing showing. Units did report that there was light smoke with a smell of belts burning. This turned out to be an air compressor with some burnt belts. Units cleared the scene.

There was a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident on US377S in front of the flea market. The roadway was reported to have been blocked. Units arriving on the scene reported two vehicles with heavy damage and that there people in the ditch that appeared to have been hurt. Air Evac 69 was paged but was later canceled. EMS Medic 2 did transport to Stephenville ER.

A caller stated that a male subject was trying to break into her residence. Deputies responded to the location running code. The caller later stated that the subject was able to get thru the door and was throwing things and was very angry. The caller also reported that the male subject was now outside screaming that the house was flooding and that the subject broke her phone while she was on 911. Deputies arriving on the scene reported that the subject was on a lawnmower outside in front of the residence. The subject was arrested and I did not hear the charge.

There was a report of a major traffic accident at the intersection of Washington Street and Harbin Drive. Officers and EMS were paged to the location and reported a truck with a trailer and a sedan were involved. The roadway was shut down for a time. Extraction was needed for one of the patients and an air ambulance was requested to respond to Clark Field. CareFlite did respond with an 18 minute ETA. EMS did transport the patient to the airport. An officer did report that all the lights at this intersection were flashing red and that this light had been reported not to be working earlier in the day. Two wreckers were called.
