Update for Friday 02/12/2021




These scanner calls occurred between 10:00 pm Wednesday and 10:00 PM Thursday

County

There were reports of accidents at:

US67N. A Chevy Silverado slide off the roadway into a ditch. No injuries were reported.

SH108 near Fulfer Propane. A vehicle struck a power pole and there were lines down. The F150 was reported to be on its side. The driver refused medical care.

US281N just passed the Sale Barn. A vehicle slid off the road and hit a power pole. One subject was complaining of a back injury. One patient was transported to Stephenville ER.

US281S near CR185. Units on the scene reported one vehicle off the roadway on its side. I did not hear of any injuries.

US67N near CR175. A white Suburban left the roadway and went thru a fence. No injurers were reported. A trooper reported was a second accident just up the road from this one. No injures were reported also.

FM219S just passed the Dublin Airport. One vehicle was off the roadway. No injuries were reported.

SH220 at CR218. One vehicle was reported to have been on its side and in a ditch. Erath, Selden, and Hico Fire were paged to the location. A Hico unit reported that he had rolled his personal vehicle en route to this accident. I did not hear of any injuries. A trooper reported another crash about three miles north of this one near CR200. No injuries were reported.

US6E near CR526. The driver reported that he had rolled his vehicle and that he did have injuries. The vehicle was off the roadway and thru a fence.

There was a report of a power line down that was sparking on FM847 near CR252. Erath Fire was paged to the location and reported that the line was down in the trees but nothing on the roadway.

There was a report of a fire near Lingleville. A caller reported that she had seen a brush pile and a structure on fire. Fire Units were paged to the location and reported that this was just a controlled burn.

There was a report of a two-vehicle traffic accent in the 1100 block of West Vanderbilt. No injuries were reported. A TPD officer responded.

SFD was paged to Bender Hall at 101 North Lillian for a report of a general fire alarm. A student had reported that they could see smoke. An officer on the scene reported that they have been having issues with the alarm for a couple of days. Fire units were canceled while en route to the scene.

There was a report of a dog bite victim who was at Stephenville ER. An officer responded.

There was a report of a subject that was going thru a dumpster looking for boxes. An officer responded to the location and found the subject. The subject stated that he was looking for shelter from the weather. Officers offered several different opportunities for shelter to the subject but all were refused.

There was a report of a vehicle that had struck a house at the intersection of Pearl and Lee Streets. A caller reported that her neighbor had hit the outside of their house. Officers and Fire were paged to the location.

There was a report of a scammer on a gas pump. An officer responded.

A caller stated that he had dropped his keys into a drainage ditch at Murphy’s gas station on Wolfe Nursery Road. The caller wanted to know if an officer could help retrieve the keys. The Street Department was contacted to help.

There was a report of an intoxicated person that was leaving the Rockin P Bar on the square. An officer responded to the location and reported that the subject left the scene driving a vehicle. The vehicle was stopped on East Road and an officer arrested the subject for DWI.
