There was a report of Fraud. A caller advised that someone had applied for social security benefits using their social security number and the caller wanted to talk to a deputy.

There was a report of a grass fire on FM1189 near the split with FM1188. The initial report was that the fire was near some houses and all persons were reported to be out of the residencies. Erath, Bluff Dale, and Morgan Mill fire were paged to the scene. The Fire Marshall was also requested to respond. I did not hear of any structural damage.

There was a report of a grass fire on CR398. Erath and Lingleville Fire were paged to the location. This was reported to be 3 to 4 acres on fire and it was getting close to some residences. Units arriving on the scene reported that the property owner already had the fire out. Units were going to remain on the scene for some mop-up.

There was a report of a traffic accident on US281N near CR434. The caller advised that a truck and trailer were involved and had rolled over. Medic One arriving on the scene reported one vehicle off the roadway with moderate damage. All persons were reported to be out. Medic one did clear the scene with no transport with three AMA.

An officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a female subject who had a warrant out of Erath County for DWI. Bonus charges were added for resisting arrest and public intoxication.

There was a report of a theft. A caller advised that a neighbor was poking holes in the hood and were stealing diesel. A deputy responded.

There was a report of a grass fire on CR408. Erath and Lingleville were paged to the location. Units arriving on the scene reported 10 acres on fire with heavy fuel load and it was moving quickly.

There was a report of a traffic accident at 1015 West Washington near Clinton Street. A caller reported that a vehicle had flipped and was on the sidewalk. The unit on the scene reported a white Jeep that was on its roof. The officer on the scene reported that there was a guide wire support that was broken. EMS did clear the scene with no transport. A wrecker was called.

SFD was paged to Bluebonnet Apartment at 100 Bluebonnet Street for a report of smoke coming from an apartment. The caller reported that they could hear a smoke alarm going off. Officers on the scene reported that they searched the apartment and found the sounding fire alarm but could not locate any fire or smoke. This turned out to be a low battery on the fire detector.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and arrested a subject for DWI. The subject also had possession of drug paraphernalia. A wrecker was called.

There was a report of smoke in the Area of Lone Star Arena on US377N. Fire units responded to the area. This was a brush pile in a large pit.

This occurred Saturday night. On Sunday the subject came to the caller’s apartment and kicked in the door assaulted the caller and stole a phone and car keys. An officer responded to the location.

There was a report of a large pile of rocks in the middle of the road on FM8 at CR461. A caller reported that vehicles were hitting the pile and blowing tires. A deputy responded and shut the lane down for a bit to remove the rocks. TXDOT was notified to respond to the location.

There was a report of a possible scam. A caller advised that he was attempting to sell a trailer and the buyer sent $6000 too much for the trailer and now the buyer was wanted the seller to send the $6000 to another address. The caller wanted to talk to a deputy.

A caller reported that while he was in a deer stand that his neighbors were target practicing with several different types of guns. The bullets were flying by the deer stand and the caller tried to get their attention but was not able to. The caller did go back to a cabin and called dispatch. A deputy responded to the location.

A caller advised that the vehicle was driving in the wrong lane of traffic and was driving on the sidewalk on Washington Street. Officers responded to the area and located the vehicle at Washington and Harbin Drive. The driver was arrested for DWI.

There was a report of a male subject that was lying in the roadway in the 1200 block of East Washington. An officer responded to the location and located the subject at Allsups Gas Station. The subject was arrested for public intoxication.

An officer witnessed a traffic accident on Lingleville Road. The vehicle did hit a power pole. No injuries were reported. The driver was arrested for DWI. Oncor was asked to respond to check out the pole. A wrecker was called.

There was a report of a domestic disturbance. A caller advised that a family member had been calling her with threats and that the subject was now at the caller’s front door. The dispatcher could hear the male subject screaming at the caller. A deputy responded to the location code (lights and siren). A male subject was arrested. I did not hear the charge.

There was a vehicle vs a calf traffic accident on US67N near FM2481. The caller advised that he had hit a calf. The caller was not injured but the calf was in the ditch deceased. The caller wanted to make a report. A deputy responded.

EMS was paged to a location on US281S. A female caller advised that she was working on her car and the vehicle accidentally rolled over both her legs. The caller was not under the vehicle when she called. The caller thought that the vehicle was in park but it was not and the caller wanted to be checked out by EMS. Medic One did transport the patient to the Stephenville ER.

There was a report of a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex. A male subject reportedly threw a female subject onto the floor and was in the residence with a baby inside and was throwing things around. Officers responded to the location and no one would open the door. Officers did have to use force to open the door and detained both subjects. I did not hear of an arrest.

The caller was going to stay at another location for the night.

DPS arriving on the scene reported that there were two vehicles involved and that Dublin Fire was cutting a passenger out if a vehicle. The two northbound lanes were reported to be blocked. I did not hear of any injuries.

The occupants had done some damage to the meter box in an attempt to shut the power off to the house.

There was a report of a structure fire on FM8W near Lingleville. Erath and Lingleville Fire were paged to the location. Fire unit on the scene reported a structure with smoke showing out the eves and that all occupants were out of the residence.

There was a report of a smoke alarm at a residence on FM3025. Erath and Morgan Mill Fire were paged to the location. Unit arriving on the scene reported that this was a malfunctioning smoke alarm. All incoming units were canceled.

There was a report of a hit and run traffic accident on Interstate 20 at mile marker 367 westbound. A driver of an eighteen-wheeler reported that a vehicle struck his truck. Both vehicles pulled over and when the eighteen-wheeler driver told the other driver of a black pickup that he was going to call the Sheriff’s Office the pickup driver fled the scene. DPS responded to the location.

A caller reported that she has had trouble with her neighbor’s dog killing their chickens and that she has shot the dog. That caller wanted to talk to a deputy before the neighbor found out.

There was a report of a one-vehicle rollover on us 377S near F&F Flooring between Stephenville and Dublin. DPS on the scene reported one vehicle on its side in the medium. It was later reported that another had run this vehicle off the roadway and fled the scene towards Dublin.

There was a report of a traffic accident on the loop near Allsups. Two vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported. One driver was complaining of leg pain.

An officer clocked a black Dodge Charger running 114 mph leaving Stephenville on US281S heading toward Hico. The officer lost sight of the vehicle and Erath County was notified. Never did hear if the vehicle was caught.
