A caller reported that someone had opened their residence door and when their daughter screamed the subject left the scene. Also, the caller stated that there was a light on in their vehicle that was not on before. Deputies responded to the location and checked the area but found nothing.

EMS asked for air medical to respond to Clark Field. The patient was transported to the airport and CareFlite lifted the patient to Harris Downtown.

There was a report of a male subject that was lying on the roadway on FM8 at CR397. Deputies and EMS were paged to the location and reported that the patient was a possible diabetic who had fallen out of the vehicle and that he is very weak. The patient was transported to the Stephenville ER.

Fire Units searched the area and did find a small burn pile on CR260. A resident who lives in the area stated that he thought that he had heard a sonic boom and not an explosion. Units cleared the scene. The landowner was advised of the burn ban that is in place.

County (early morning)

There was a report of a pursuit coming in from Comanche County on US6 coming into Dublin. The suspect was reported to have been possibly armed with a knife. Erath Deputies and a Dublin Unit were waiting for the vehicle to come into Erath County. Speeds were reported to be about 25 mph. The vehicle did turn onto US377 and then onto CR340 and returned to Comanche County. The pursuit did near Lake Procter on FM1496 when the vehicle turned onto US377 northbound and was heading back into Erath County. A deputy that was positioned on US377S at the US67 split near the Dublin exit did deploy spike strips in the right lane and reported that the deployment was successful and the vehicle did stop. An Erath deputy in the area of US6 West of Dublin reported a Comanche County Sherriff Unit and possibly a Comanche City Police Unit and a De Leon Police Unit were stuck in the ditch on US6 west of Dublin. A wrecker was called for the De Leon Unit.

The fire unit on the scene reported that there was no fire showing but did ask for a thermal imager to be brought to the scene.
