There is a report of power lines that have been struck by a vehicle on in the 500 block of Patrick Street. There are reports of hot powerlines on vehicles.

5:27 PM

There are reports of power lines down on Ireland Street. EMS has been paged to the scene. No reports of injuries at this time.

5:30 PM

Dublin Medic 12 is on the scene.

5:33 PM

Oncor is on the scene and the truck is still there.

5:35 PM

Centurylink and Northland Cable has been called. They have power lines on the ground also.

6:12 PM

Some units have cleared the scene. Traffic is reported to be slow in the area.

6:27 PM

Dublin PD just reported that the roadway will now be open except for the side streets.

There was a report of a traffic accident in the 200 block of East South Loop. This was reported to be a single vehicle motorcycle accident. SPD and EMS were paged to the scene. Units on the scene reported that the rider did not have any injuries.

SFD was paged to Caporal Drive for a report of a transformer that was arcing. Firemen on the scene requested that the Emerson Electric building next door be evacuated. Oncor was notified and they advised that the firemen stay at least 35 foot away from the scene until they arrived. The pole on the scene was reported to be smoking from the ground. SFD reported that there was a very small grass fire associated with the call. The Railroad was notified and was requested not to let any trains come thru. There were reports of power outages in at the intersections of Washington and Lillian Streets and at Washington and Alexander road. These outages were thought to be associated with this call. The power was eventually shut off at the pole. Emerson Electric and the Railroad were notified that the scene was clear.

There was a report of a physical disturbance in the city. A suspect reportedly punched another subject. SPD responded to the scene. One male subject was arrested for assault family violence. The subject did have three prior convictions for family violence.

SPD performed a traffic stop and arrested a subject that had a warrant out of Hood County for theft under $2500.

There was a report of a grass fire on FM205 just outside of the city limits. This fire was reported to be in the ditch next to the roadway. Units arriving on the scene reported that there were multiple grass fires next to the roadway.  SFD was paged to the scene but was later disregarded.

EMS was paged to a location on US377 between Dublin and Stephenville for a report of a female patient that was having trouble breathing. She was in her vehicle parked on the side of the road. Dublin EMS did transport the patient to Stephenville ER.

There was a report of a vehicle that went thru a fence on FM847. I did hear of any injuries.

There was a traffic accident in the 1400 block of West Washington. A vehicle had reportedly run into the sign at McDonalds Restaurant. EMS was paged to the scene for the driver who was reportedly unconscious. Units arriving on the scene reported that the roadway was not blocked. There was a fluid trail leading to the accident scene an Officer did track it and reported that the vehicle did strike several curbs before it stuck the sign. The patient was transported to Stephenville ER.

SPD was paged to Mi Familia Restaurant at 2029 W Washington Street for a report of a male subject that had broken out a window in the restaurant. The subject has reportedly left the scene prior to Officers arrival. The subject was located nearby and had a laceration to his hand. This turned out to be a domestic altercation the subject was arrested for Class C threat.

There was a report of a male subject near the City Park Bridge on the South Loop that was bear footed and was walking out into traffic. Officers responded to the scene and located the subject. I did not hear any more on this call.

There was a report of a hit and run that occurred in a parking lot of an apartment complex. The reporting person stated that her vehicle was struck and there was damage. An officer responded to take a report.

There was a report of an oversized load that struck cable lines on US377S of Stephenville near the Kubota Dealership. No injuries were reported but traffic was backed up for a while.

There was a report of a one-vehicle traffic accident two miles south of Morgan Mill. A vehicle attempted to miss a deer and struck a tree. The caller reported that his head was bleeding. EMS was paged to the scene. Units arriving on the scene reported the vehicle was off the roadway. A wrecker was called. I did not hear of any transport.

Erath, Selden and Harbin Fire were paged to CR247 off of US281S for a reported grass fire. Fire Units could not find this fire and returned to the station.

There was a report of a traffic accident on eastbound Interstate 20 near mile marker 367. Erath and Huckabay Fire were paged to the scene. This was reported to be a two-vehicle traffic accident with one of the vehicles fleeing the scene. The other vehicle was reported to have been rolled over. The fleeing vehicle was later reported to have stopped near the scene. Units on the scene advised that EMS en route could stand down. There were two occupants who did not need to be transported.

Power Lines Down

(Power Lines Down) Erath and Morgan Mill fire has been paged to a location near the intersection of R164 and FM3025 for a report of power lines that are sparking and they might cause a fire.

6:44 PM

All units have been disregarded. The COOP is on the scene.

Power Outage

7:49 PM Stephenville
(Power Outage) SPD just received a report from a resident that lives on Cactus Valley Street. The caller reported a loud explosion in the vicinity and reported that several residences are without power in the area. SPD is en route to the area.

8:03 PM
This is reported to be a transformer that has blown. The report is that it should be fixed in about an hour or so.

Traffic Accident

2:02 PM Stephenville
(Traffic Accident) Report of a semi truck vs an electrical pole on the 700 block of Mockingbird Street. There is a report of power lines down. The driver is reported to still be in the vehicle.

2:06 PM
Unit on the scene reports a power line down. Traffic will be blocked in the vicinity.

2:08 PM
Everyone is reported to be out of the vehicle. The power company has been notified. SFD reports the scene is secure. The pole that was struct is broken.

Power Outage

10:09 AM Stephenville
(Power Outage) SFD has been paged to the 2100 block of Oakwood Drive for a transformer that has blown near this location. Reporting party states that power is out in the area.

10:12 AM
SFD Unit 334 is in the area. Oncor has been notified.

10:23 AM
Unit 344 reports that there is not any danger in the area and that Oncor will have to restore service. All units have cleared the scene.
