EMS Call

At approximately 8:30 PM there was a report of a 35-year-old male gunshot victim at the rest stop between Stephenville and Bluff Dale on US377N. EMS was paged to the scene and asked to stage until deputies could arrive. Deputies on the scene reported that the subject was breathing hand had a facial wound. EMS was cleared to make the scene and asked for Medic Two to respond as well. Air Evac 69 out of Granbury was asked to respond to the location. A landing zone was set up for Air Evac at the roadside park and the helo did transport the patient to an unknown location. DPS does have the weapon secured and Erath County Criminal Investigation Unit is on the scene at this time.

EMS is on a medical call on CR401. They have asked for an air medical helo to respond to the scene. Erath and Lingleville Fire have been asked to respond to set up a landing zone for the helo.

SPD is on the scene in the CVS parking lot on Washington Street. The initial call was that the subject was yelling for help. Officers arriving on the scene have asked for EMS to respond.

11:28 PM
Officers on the scene report that this subject could be under the influence of a substance. The subject is being detained while EMS checks the subject out.

11:36 PM
The subject has been arrested for possession of marijuana under two ounces and public intoxication.

EMS was called to the Purple Goat on East Washington Street for a report of a subject having medical issues.

There was a one-vehicle accident on CR134. The report was that the vehicle struck a tree and caught on fire. First responders arriving on the scene reported a vehicle fully involved in the bar ditch. There were two patients. A male subject was complaining of back pain and another with a head injury. The fire from the vehicle spread into the grass and started a significant grass fire. Several agency’s had to be called in to put out the fire.

There was a report of a verbal disturbance. A caller reported that a couple that was staying with them was fusing to help pay utilities which was agreed upon and they were arguing. A Deputy responded.

There was a report of a fight in progress. SPD responded to the scene and reported that this was just a party. No fight was found.

SFD was paged to the corner of Lingleville and Graham for a report of a trash dumpster that was smoking. The unit on the scene reported a trash dumpster that as full with no fire. They did spray water on the dumpster and cleared the scene.

SPD found an approximate two-year-old male child wandering around alone. Officers could not locate where the child came from. EMS was paged to the scene to check out the child. The child was taken to Stephenville ER and CPS was called and responded from Arlington Texas. The mother and father did make contact SPD later in the morning and responded to the hospital.

There was a report of a vehicle that went thru a fence on US6 about 5 miles east of Dublin. EMS did respond to the scene to check out an infant that was in the vehicle. A wrecker was called to the scene.

There was a report of a minor traffic on CR340. A caller advised that the driver was out of the vehicle and did not look hurt. The caller did not stay at the scene but did state that the vehicle did look like it was not drivable. A deputy responded to the scene.

SPD received a report of a male subject sitting under a tree and drinking a bottle of wine. A witness stated that the subject passed out at one time and was seen crossing traffic. An officer responded to the scene.

There was a report of a male subject laying on the ground at a local gas station. The subject was reported to have a bottle with a yellow liquid in it. SPD responded to the scene and gave the subject a courtesy ride.

The subject that was walking the dog reportedly attempted to assault the subject that told him the dog needed water. The second subject called SPD and wanted the dog checked on.

There was a report of a verbal disturbance. A caller advised that a subject was being verbally offensive to them. A deputy responded to the scene.

Erath and Bluff Dale Fire have been paged to Moutain Lakes Subdivision to set up a landing zone for an air ambulance. EMS is on a medical call in the area and asked for a helo to transport a patient.

1:32 PM
Careflifgt 3 out of Granbury will respond. 13 minute ETA.

1;34 PM
Bluff Dale unit on the scene has canceled Erath. They reported that they can handle the landing zone.

1:49 PM
Careflight is on the ground.

Careflight has lifted an is en route to Harris Methodist downtown.

DPD arrested one subject for resisting arrest. After a trip to the Stephenville Hospital, there was a bonus trip to Erath County Jail.
