These scanner calls occurred between 10:00 pm Monday and 10:00 pm Tuesday.

County

DPS conducted a traffic stop and arrested a male subject for possession of a controlled substance. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.

There was a report of a dog bite. The patient was a local clinic. A deputy responded to the location.

SFD was paged to the intersection of East Lingleville Road and Morgan Mill Road for a report of a strong odor of natural gas in the area. Fire Units were not able to locate anything and returned to the station.

There was a report of criminal mischief. A caller reported that her husband’s truck had been shot with a paintball gun sometime in the night. An officer responded.

There was a report of a multiple vehicle minor traffic accident at the intersection of West Lingleville Road and Kight Street. An officer arriving on the scene reported that one of the vehicles had fled the scene and that there was a teenage passenger complaining of back pain. EMS was paged to respond and did leave with no transport.

There was a report of a disturbance at the Allsups on the Northwest Loop. Officers responded to the location and arrested a subject for public intoxication.

A caller reported that someone had knocked on their door and when they looked thru the peephole they saw a person wearing a ski mask and that they had a knife in their hand. An officer responded to the location and did not locate the subject.

SFD was paged to Little Caesars Restaurant at 1188 West Washington. A caller reported that there was smoke coming from the building and that everyone was out. Fire Units arriving at the location reported nothing showing and did clear the scene. I did not hear the cause of the smoke.

There was a report of an assault. A female caller stated that she was attacked by seven subjects that had knocked on her door and then pulled her out of her apartment and beat on her. Officers responded to the location and asked for EMS to respond to check out the caller for a reported possible broken nose and did clear the scene with no transport. The subjects had already left the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
