These scanner calls occurred between 9:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 pm Thursday

County

There was a report of domestic violence. A caller stated that a female possibly had a broken bone in her foot and that the male suspect had locked himself into a vehicle on the scene. EMS was paged to the location and asked to stage nearby until deputies could secure the scene. Deputies did secure the scene and EMS did clear with no transport.

There was a report of a vehicle that was being repossessed and that the driver of the vehicle would not get out. An officer responded and reported that the vehicle was handed over.

There was a report of a theft. A caller reported that the front license plate was taken from a vehicle. An officer responded.

An officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a male subject for possession of marijuana under two ounces and the subject did not have insurance on his vehicle.

Stephenville 11:30 PM

There was a report of shots being fired inside an apartment. A caller reported that the subject was still inside the apartment and that there were four females still inside with the gunman. A second caller advised that the subject did shoot the firearm three times toward the ground outside the apartment. Officers responded to the location and secured the scene and arrested the subject for deadly conduct. The weapon used was a 9mm Ruger.

SFD was paged to the 1300 block of Mellissa Drive for a report of a structure fire. There was a shed in the backyard of the residence that was on fire. Fire Units on the scene reported a small 8 x 10 shed on fire. The fire was extinguished.
