Update for Monday 11/16/2020

These scanner calls occurred between Sunday and Monday morning.

County

There was a report of a fire alarm on CR518. This was reported to be the greenhouse on the College Farm. A deputy arriving on the scene reported that this was a false alarm and that Erath Fire en route to the scene could cancel. The alarm was reset.

There was a report of subjects that were waving shotguns around Texan Village Apartments and that the subjects threw rabbit carcasses in a dumpster at the location. An officer responded to the scene and located the subjects and a report was made. A game warden heard the call on the radio and arrived at the location as well. All units cleared the scene.

There was a report of a theft of an American Flag. The reporting person wanted to talk to an officer.

There was a report of a threat. A caller reported that a male subject was threatening to harm the caller. Officers responded to the location.

There was a report of a two-vehicle minor traffic accident on Maple Lane. No injuries were reported and the roadway was not blocked. A wrecker was called.

There was a report of an assault that was not in progress.  The reporting person wanted to talk to an officer.

A caller reported that she returned to her home after being away for the weekend and her car was missing from the parking lot. An officer responded to the location.

Officers were paged to the Soccer Association on Mistletoe Drive. A caller reported that a soccer game had just finished playing out and that the losing team was not happy and angry. The caller was concerned that there might be some problems in the parking lot. Officer arrived on the scene and reported that most everyone had left.

Stephenville (early morning)

There was a report of a traffic accident on North Dale Street. A caller reported that a vehicle had rolled over and gone thru a fence. Officers arriving on the scene reported that no one was in the vehicle. A wrecker was called to remove the vehicle. Later in the morning a reporting person had called SPD and reported that their vehicle was stolen. The vehicle involved in this accident was the stolen vehicle.
