DPS was attempting to stop a vehicle on the Northwest Loop and the driver was refusing to stop. The vehicle did stop in the 600 block of Lingleville Road after spike strips were deployed. A female subject was arrested and did have a warrant and is facing additional charges. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.

There was a report of a subject with a gunshot wound. A Deputy responded to Stephenville ER. A Deputy responded to the scene.

There was a report of a minor traffic accident on US377N of Stephenville about 12 miles out. A vehicle slid off the roadway and hit a pole. There were no injuries reported and the roadway was not blocked.

There was a report of a large party on CR255. A caller advised that there was a male subject on the scene threatening to shoot. The suspect was upset because he could not find his shoes and that no one would help him locate them so that he could leave. The suspect left the scene before a Deputy could arrive. A Deputy arriving on the scene asked for SPD to respond for mutual aid. Officers on the scene reported at least 50 people at the location. I did not hear if the suspect was located.

There was a report of a one-vehicle traffic accident on US281S near CR226. A caller reported that a male driver fell asleep at the wheel and went thru a fence and hit a tree. The vehicle did catch fire and there was reported to be ammunition going off from inside. The driver was reported to be out of the vehicle. Earth and Selden fire was paged to the scene. I did not hear of any injuries. A wrecker was called for the scene.

There was a report of an assault that occurred at Traditions Hall North at 600 Rome Avenue for a report of a 20-year-old male that had been assaulted. The victim advised that he as coughing up blood. TPD and SPD responded. The victim refused EMS and did not want to file charges.

There was a report of a disturbance. A caller advised that a teenage male subject as punching a house. SPD responded to the scene.

There was a report of theft. A caller advised that there were some flag pins stolen from a golf course. The caller wanted to speak to an officer about having a close patrol placed on the course.

There was an EMS call. The caller reported that they had a saw blade stuck in their foot. EMS did transport one patient to Stephenville ER.

A caller reported that there was a subject at Allsups # 2 at 150 East South Loop that had propane tanks on an RV. The subject was reportedly opening and closing the tanks repeatedly. The caller wanted to have the situation checked out to make sure that everything was ok. SFD responded to the scene and then cleared soon after.

There was a report of a disturbance in a parking lot of a funeral home. The caller reported that there were family members fighting in the parking lot. SPD responded.

There was a report of a sexual assault that had occurred. The caller stated that the father of the child had the subject detained with a baseball bat. Officers on the scene asked for EMS to respond to check out the victim and they did transport the victim to Stephenville ER. Officers did find a bag of a controlled substance that the suspect had dropped when officers arrived on the scene. I did not hear of an arrest but officers did have the suspect in custody.

SPD performed a traffic stop and arrested a male subject for DWI. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.

SFD was paged to 1136 West Washington for a report of a fire alarm at this location. Units on the scene reported no fire and they did reset the alarm. Occupants were able to reenter the building.
