These scanner calls occurred thru out the day on Tuesday

There was a report of an attempted burglary. A caller advised that someone attempted to steal a toolbox from the back of a truck. The suspect was not successful. SPD did respond and took a report.

SPD was paged to a location for a report of a burglary in progress. A caller advised that when she returned home she believed that someone was in her home. She also stated that she thought she heard a suspect running out the front door. Officers responded and cleared the home. The area around the home was searched. I never did hear if the suspect was apprehended.

There was a report of a vehicle vs a cow traffic accident on FM3025. The car was reported to be smoking. Units arriving on the scene reported that all the occupants were out of the vehicle. The vehicle was off the roadway but the cow remained. No injuries were reported except for the cow. A wrecker was called.
